Books 1-8

Soul Eater 1-8 is the main buildup of the story, that usually “hooks” readers and gets them to understand the main storyline. Book one introduces the characters Death the Kid, Maka, Soul, Blair, Blackstar, Spirit, Jack the Ripper, Tsubaki, and the Thompson Sisters, Patty and Liz. One of the main settings in soul eater is the school, Death Weapon Meister Academy, or DWMA. In the first books, Maka, a academic meister, aims to create a “Death Scythe” from her partner, and weapon, Soul. Collecting 99 evil human souls and one witch soul. Blackstar, Tsubaki’s partner, aims to go from a chain scythe to a Death Scythe as well. One of Maka’s and Soul’s first battle’s is to Blair, the witch.
